Our first in class assignment was to find an abstract image that spoke to us.
Here is the image that I could not stop staring at:
The first thing that drew my eyes to this image were its bright colors. They reminded me of watching Fourth of July fireworks at Lake Tahoe as a little kid. The blue in the background reminded me of the night sky on the top half and the lakes water on the bottom half. The fireworks from the other side of the lake shoot up into the sky and reflect onto the water just as the light in this picture reflects itself on the top and bottom of the image.

Abstract images can mean something different to every viewer who stumbles upon them. The image can be interpreted and seen in any different ways.
